A short note on why we're starting a blog — what you'll find here, and where we're going as a product.
Why now#
We've been building Nomad Karaoke quietly for a while. The Generator has shipped. Decide has shipped. We run live karaoke nights on our own hardware. Most of what we've built, we've never really talked about publicly.
This blog is the fix for that.
What you'll find here#
Three kinds of posts, loosely:
- Features — announcements and deep-dives on what we've built. A lot of this is retrospective at first, because there's a backlog of quiet launches to walk through.
- Guides — practical content for hosts and singers. How to host your first karaoke night. How to pick the right song. How to use the Generator well.
- Thoughts — opinions on karaoke as a craft, the music industry's relationship to it, and where we think this all goes.
One post a week, roughly. Some weeks may be quiet. That's fine.
What this isn't#
It's not a product changelog — we already have one of those. It's not SEO slop. It's not "10 tips for better karaoke." It's the things we actually think about, written for the people who care about the thing the way we do.
